Good Morning to Everyone and special shout out to ALL celebrating their 8 MOS!! anniversary on the 15 (Me Tammy) 16 & 17th.. ALL us Mid Month losers!! GOOD WORK everyone!! It seems so short and yet so far out from surgery..and I think man 5mos till Sept.. but then Spring is barely here!! I'm happy that we all had our surgery when we did- I feel we are so more energized and excited to be outdoors, planning to wear bathing suits and begin to reap the benefits of our hard work..and although we do struggle with day to day, like staring down the scale at those 5 unmovable pounds, I would rather be at the weight I am now, 228 and 40% BMI, than at 55% or more..Who knows what I would weigh now? Saturday- my 8 month anniversary..was absolutely a perfect day in NY- in the 75s all day till midnite.. I celebrated by wearing one of my new 2pc swimsuits, & outdoor tanned..later I took my measurements - I take them every 2 mos- and recommend everyone to do this.. Since Feb 15 - I am down: 14inches!!!! chest: 2ins waist - 3ins hips - 3ins thighs - 2ins each calf - 1in each I also hit the gym for 30 mins and then came home and had my son walk with me another 40mins..I was gonna make one of our goals walking to Dunkin Donuts for ice cream- but good thing we had no money on us! Interesting thing- 9mos ago- I would never have walked as far- nor at the pace I did (my son was a little breathless ) and I was never out of breath once..I was amazed! Then I went home and tried on the 2 dresses from Target I bought- size L - and SHOCKED they both fit!! Im not used to things fitting in the next smaller size..I was just so happy..then I took my son out for a late dinner Sat night.. live band, good food..it was a really good day.. HOPE everyone celebrating mid month- had a great time- what did you do?? Donna 325/228/145

YOU GO NY BABE! You're doing such a GREAT JOB! Well I had a wonderful weekend myself. I walked Saturday morning my 3.00 mile walk and again on Sunday evening the weather is just so beautiful in Texas. The wind was really breezy and it made for a very pleasant walk. I indulged a little yesterday. Of course I cooked my family a huge Easter Sunday Dinner. Dressing, Turkey, Home made macaroni and cheese, greens, yams and for dessert I made Homemade Peach Cobbler. I really didn't do to bad I ate on a small saucer to make sure that I didn't overeat and I didn't even eat all of that. I had 5 bites of peach cobbler; I made certain that I eat early so that I could walk of the calories later that day. I fixed dinner around 4:00 pm CST and went walking at 6:30 for an hour in a half after my walk I had a Chocolate Protein Shake which was delicious. I got on the scale this morning and was back down to 230 I am so grateful to GOD for giving me the opportunity to have this surgery. I have so much more energy and I am really enjoying life now. Have a WONDERFUL week!!!

Donna.... Happy Surgiversary to you too!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow time has really gone by. These last 8 months my body has seen AMAZING changes. I would do this all over again in a heart beat. I went to see my surgeon today. He was soooo pleased with my progress. I've lost 17 lbs since I last saw him in January. He told me I was absolutely beautiful. I just love his personality. Couldn't have been more blessed to have him as my surgeon. I told him he was my hero.... I was 198 on his scale fully dressed. It was funny, I told the nurse if I wasn't under 200 on their scale, I was taking off my pants........ Luckily I was under. She said she's had people come in with their bathing suits under their clothes.... HMMMM, I said...that's a great idea ..... Anyway.........great news..... My April goal was to be 195.... As of this morning, I was 194..... I go by my scale without clothes rather than my Dr's seeing I only see him every 3 months.... YIPPPEEEE 90 lbs goooonnnneeeee forever..... You're doing awesome too Just think, this surgery has brought so many of us together... It's sad to think that none of us would have met if it wasn't for OH & the surgery..... How blessed are we???? Anyway, Happy Anniversary to all of us....... We're doing absolutely fabulous... Love You all Tammy 291/284/194/145
