Isn't it tough losing 4lbs?? I can't imagine when I get to 200lbs I know the weight Im at is the lowest since Jay was in kindergarten.. I keep looking at myself in the mirror in my new clothes. I was 175 when I I graduated HS and it was all uphill from there..so those will be my next 2 milestones... And my first jeans I bought at Kohls- in February - are now (and they were tight) are now 3 inches too big in the waist!! I am wearing a women's size Medium shirt at work today!!! I always thought size Med was for thin women- not for ME! I can barely get my work done today. I will be working out tonight and posting tomorrow. Tammy, tomorrow is our 8 month anniversary!! 8 months tomorrow GIRL...... can you believe it???? I think I may have finally made it under 200 for good this time... FINGERS CROSSED... I have an appointment with my surgeon on Monday.... I'm hoping to be under 200 on his scale. His is usually like 2 or 3 lbs over mine sooooooooooooooo we'll see. I know how you feel about the medium shirts. It's weird to look at them & think that it's to small for me, then it fits.... WOOOO HOOOOOW. HAVE A WONDERFUL ANNIVERSARY & EASTER Tammy 291/284/196/145

Hi Everyone, It's me lazy Carolyn, I fail off the wagon, but I'm gotta get back on! I can't walk at lunch anymore because it's too hot for me. It's been in the mid-and -high 80's this week and the sun really burns my skin. So I guess the stationary bike will have to do. I when to the doctor for my 3 month check up and he was not to pleased with my weight lose this time. I only lose 16 pounds this time. Compared to last time I had lose 33 pounds from Oct.4,2005 to Jan. 13,2006. So I have to get the pounds to start rolling off again before my next doctor visit which is July 13. I'm to afraid to set a goal for the next doc visit because I may not lose down to it. I'll start monday night. Oh! and I weighed 206 on my doc scale but on my scale I weighed 203 first thing that morning. I think, no I know I don't get in enough water and I have been snacking to much in the last 2 weeks, so all of that will stop and I will be getting back on track and with the program . Because I have come too far and worked to hard to give and to old habits. You girls have a wonderful Easter weekend!!! Take care Carolyn (Jc C.)

Carolyn..... You have the right attitude girl. Sorry to hear your Dr isn't happy. They must know that things slow down after about 6 months. As long as you're losing & doing the right thing, don't worry. The weight will come off. I have an appointment on Monday, my last visit I was 215 on his scale, so we'll see what I am this time. His scale is usually 3 over mine so I'll have to check what I am dressed on my scale before I leave. I don't think he'll say too much cuz the last time I saw him, he said it may take me a year to lose another 30 or 40 lbs ( i sure hope not) but at least he's not gonna yell at me..(at least I hope not ) Anyway, keep up the great work. 2 miles walking this morning with my oldest son and my bassett hound. Then 4 hours of shopping! Got some great deals at the thrift store, then went to Wal Mart and splurged a bit. After 3 trips to the dressing room with numerous bras, jeans, and tops, I left realizing while my weight is within a lb or two of what it's been pretty much for a month, my body shape is CHANGING! I was a 40DD pre op, 36DD a couple months ago. Today I am a 34D or 36C. I've wanted to be a C cup again for more years than I can remember. I picked up 2 silkie tops (the ones that look like slips or lingerie) - I've wanted one of them for a long time! They really looked awesome, I was surprised when I tried them on! My dedicated tanning is paying off, the tops looked nice and my tan looked good with them. And I got a skirt today. First time I have tried on a skirt and thought "hey that looks good!" in my entire adult life! It's denim, really cute too. I'll have to get a couple new pics soon for my profile! Okay, enough rambling. As I recall, this is an excersise post and lately I've been using it to blab - sorry Tammy!! Connie 269/175/163 surgeon's goal

Connie... Great job on the new clothes. I bet they look great. Can't wait to see new pics.. Even though the topic is exercise, this is a daily post for everyone to post what's going on in their lives....so please don't stop telling us other things that are going on with you. Thanks Tammy! It does help me to hear other people's daily stories, struggles, and wow moments. I love being part of this group. My support group is over an hour away, and after working 9 to 10 hours I usually am not up for that drive each way. So you guys are my support, and this last week of joining the excersise post has really helped me more than you could know! I have been putting a lot of thought into my loss, my goals, my eating habits. Thank you for doing this for us! Connie
