Day 10 Exercise -- How's everyone doing????
Hi....
Sorry this is late. I had a busy morning & then had a support group leaders meeting with the nurse practioner & nutritionist from my surgeons office.
Anyway.... I will tally our combined weight tomorrow. I have to work some ot tonight so I'm making this quick.
Didn't even weigh today........wow, must have been busy eh????
Did get a brisk 1/2 hr walk...1.3 miles... it is sooo nice out today..

After some health problems, several trips to the drs and one trip to the ER, I'm just about back to my ol' self and now excersising. I did a 2 mile walk this evening in 40 minutes. Me, DH, and my oldest son went together, and took my bassett hound. It was her first time going on a long walk, she came home and drank some water then proceeded to fall out in the middle of the kitchen for a rest!
During the week I was drugged up on Percocet I actually gained a few lbs. Yuck! So, as of today I'm 177, up from 173 2 weeks ago. I've spent the past couple of weeks while I've been sick letting the carb monster take control of me. I can eat a lot more now and that scares me too. I had totally quit taking my vitamins or drinking protein, so last night I got all that back on track too. I've let myself resign to the possiblity that I won't lose anymore weight since I can eat more, but I think maybe I shouldn't give up so easily. I mean, I still have like 4 months til I'm a year out, there's still time to drop a few more lbs before the honeymoon's over! So I'm slowly but surely getting everything back on track and giving these last 25 lbs or so a worthy shot.

Thanks for the concerns with the weather on Friday. We did not get hit bad. There was some sporadic damage and some hail but nothing major.
I did not exercise at all on Friday or Saturday. I walked for 2 1/4 miles on Sunday afternoon. My weight is up yet again. It is so frustrating, but I know that I have been eating way too much this past week. I am going to try to do better this week. I will walk during my morning and afternoon breaks today (about 2 miles). I don't know if I will get to exercise tonight because my son has an away baseball game.

Greetings Ladies
I didn't get an opportunity to walk on Friday evening like I promised however; I did walk Saturday 3.5 miles and Sunday I did my tae-bo power DVD for 1 hour. Yesterday I worked out Monday morning 30 minutes cardio and walked 3.5 miles after work.
Today I "plan" I say plan b/c I really am not motivated to go to the gym at lunch today but I really need too.

As you can see my weight is creeping back up and I know what the problem is. I haven't been drinking my protein drinks in the past couple of days and I have been snacking. I really need to work on this...
