I walked 90 minutes. I think close to 6 miles. I'm gonna go drive to see the exact miles....
Ohhhhh....note to everyone... Don't walk all that time & not eat or drink anything, then try to stand in church for an hour. I did drink a 2.5 ounce protein vial (25 grams) as soon as I got back from my walk, but that was it. I rushed in the shower & then out the door to church. We got there late so we had to stand. For those Catholics out there, you all know that today is Palm Sunday & the reading of the Lords Passion which extends mass quite a bit. About an hour into the service, I felt very warm, dizzy & thought I was gonna go down. I told my husband & kids that I didn't feel good & needed some air. Felt much better when I went outside. About 5 minutes later my husband came out & brought me home. I feel bad that I had to leave mass, but, uuggghhh I really needed to come home & drink something. Feeling much better now. My kids are probably freaking out cause they probably just got out of church & are wondering where I am. We don't live far from church, so I'm sure they'll walk home or my sister will bring them home. I'm eating some chicken & veggies right now. The color is returning to my face.... Soooo, note to self.... Give yourself more time to exercise & take care of yourself before church.
My girls & I are hitting the mall this afternoon looking for outfits for my sisters wedding. Should be fun.

Hi Tammy,
I learned that lesson when I tried to go walk 5 1/2 miles without drinking. I ate a meal right before heading out the door and I'm not to drink for the 1st hour after eating. Oh... I didn't feel at all good. So how was shopping? It had to be fun.
I walked for 30 mins around my dad's place - all hilly (193 cals). Better than nothing, though not my goal of 300 cals a day.

i am home, had such a good time with the grandson!
he turned three on thursday!
i only had 3 small bites (remembering the 3 bite rule) of cake, that was at one party, he had two, i wasn't temted at the second!
i walked 2 miles everyday when i was there.
tammy how do you want me to post that,
here and on past days?
i had this surgery because my knee's are shot, i was walking with a cane.
i would like to add another mile to my walk, but 2 is all i can handle.
maybe another mile in the evening would work?
my wt. loss isn't doing much, but i am almost in a 14!
i can get them on easily but not zipped.
i met with a wonderful woman who had the surgery 3 years ago, lost all her wt., is in a size 4 and lives her program everyday!
she helped me to get on a schedule for eating, drinking water and protein shakes.
i have faithfully followed this for two weeks (with exception of the cake)
i can't understand why the wt. won't budge.
i am eating 600-800 calories aday, less than 25 grams of carbs, at least 90 grams of protein.

You can post both days on here....that's fine. I usually don't go back more than one day when I tally the exercise so posting it on here is great.
Great Job with the b-day cake ........ Funny how those things don't rule our lives anymore. What a great feeling.
I think some of us are at the "scales not budging" stage. It's frustrating, but we know that the exercise & sticking to plan is keeping us healthy.

I bet that was scary! I have felt that way before and it's no fun!
I am posting this on Monday but thought I better get something in here for the weekend. We hiked for 2 hours today with the puppy and my daughter. It was fun. We took Maggie (the dog) down to the creek for her first experience with water...she is a golden retriever... She was a little scared at first but then started inching into the water. At one point I picked her up and tossed her in. She LOVED it!! After I did that, she ran around like a wild dog and kept jumping up on me. I was soaked! But it was great exercise!
Didn't make it to the races Friday night. My hubby decided to FINALLY get the Harley out and we went for a nice ride! It felt great to be on there and not worry about my big butt hanging over the sides of the seat! I felt so small!
I am so happy for you staying below that dreaded 200 mark Tammy! I do believe you can finally say GOODBYE! And GOOD RIDDANCE! I am sitting at 187 this morning. I don't expect any kind of loss this week. But my jeans are fitting looser! I can almost say goodbye to my 14's! Yahooooo!

The ride on the Harley sounds AWESOME.... Don't you just love noticing those things (feeling tiny)..........
You'll be in 12's before you know it. I tried on a couple of pairs of 14s the other day. Got them up & zipped. Didn't get them cuz they were a little snug, but it won't be long.... Remember when I talked about only a couple of the size 16s fit & the others didn't??? They all fit now & are getting a little loose.... wooo hoooo

The ride WAS awesome! Someday I want to learn how to ride my own!
I actually have 4 pairs of 12's. Two of them fit, the other two don't. Depends on the maker. I have some levi's that are 14's and they are huge. But then I have some pairs of 14's that fit. No two pairs of jeans are alike I swear! But none of the 16's fit anymore. I could wear them but don't want to have a baggy butt! So I gave them to my sister. She is miffed but will take the handmedowns! I love it!!!
I am outta here for the evening. I feel like crappola since Aunt Flo arrived today. I just want to go crawl into bed!
