I just really wanted to say thank you to all of you who got me outta my "rut"!! I have done some serious thinking and reading and re reading all of your posts and i am SO ready for this again! I took my vitimans and im ready to face this life long battle again....With the help of all of you! I am NOT ALONE! i know that now. Im not trying to make excuses for my AWFUL behavior but FOOD was my "drug of choice" and i have been very stressed out in the past few months. We are in the process of buying our first home after 15 years of marriage and anything and everything that could go wroing HAS! We have has 2 houses taken from us to give to Katrina victims (and i dont have a problem with it, but they should NOT have put it on the market to begin with then) after that, my husbads FATHERS past due accounts AND his refinancing of his morgage is on my husbands credit (they have same name) so then we had to fight with the credit bureau to prove they wernt ours...in the mean time our dream home has been put back on the market because the sellers wont give us another extention! This weekend we are keeping our fingers crossed that no one buys or puts the home in contract so we can CLOSE on monday, tueday or weds of next week. Please keep us in your prayers...if we are meant to have this house we will have it by weds of next week! we just needed a few more days to get it back from underwritting...i belive this stress is what has made me go back to my "old way" but now that i realize it...im NOT going to let it happen! Hopefully it will stop raining so i can go outside and take a walk! I love you all! THANKS! kim

Hey Kim.... I'm soo excited for your enthusiasm to get back on track. Great job on your vitamins & wanting to walk.... I totally understand how stress can get you to "revert" back to old habits. That's how I got in this situation in the first place. You've done so well identifying the root of your problem & knowing what you need to do now. DON'T LET STRESS WIN!!!! If you feel stressed & you need to grab something...try to make it a healthy choice (cheese stick, sf pudding etc)... if you don't have it on hand, ask yourself if you're really hungry & think of all of us CHEERING you on to make the right choice. Sooooooo glad you're back. We will beat those evil demons in our heads together. (((HUGS)))) & Tammy

I'm so glad you have become so positive! I'll be honest, reading your original post has actually changed my way of thinking as well. I thikn I took it for granted that I would lose weight without really trying, since I had this procedure. But I was stuck between 205-206 for the last 3 weeks or so. After reading your post and everyone's responses, I realized that at this point, just eating small meals alone will NOT get the scale moving the way I want it to! I got back on my treadmill and although I am only doing 25 minutes or so, I am trying to jog some of it and actually made it to 10 minutes jogging, 15 minutes walking on Friday! I got on the scale this morning and I am down to 203.5!!! I know 2.5 pounds is not much for some, but for me, it's HUGE!! That puts me at 85.5 pounds and that much closer to the centruy mark. So thank you, Kim, for having the courage to come forward and ask for help! And thanks to everyone else *****sponded to Kim with kind words of encouragement! Debbi 289/203.5/165
