Hi All, Thanks for all the great thoughts and caring. It's been great to read them. We finally got some answers today. Turns out that his head doctor has been at a conference for the last 3 days. Would have been nice if he would have said something. Also, the lead case worker for the floor hasn't been there until today - hence why we finally got some info. The neuro came in and said the right side of his brain has very narrow blood vessels - making him still a ticking time bomb. He was almost discharged, first to a Rehab hospital (but he's too high functioning to be an inpatient ), then home. But, then they realized he hadn't started coumadin yet so that was finally started this evening and as soon as they find out his theraputic level he gets to come home. Now, all I have to do is finish shoveling the driveway and stairs. Dawn

Dawn, Thanks for the update. So glad to hear you finally got answers. I know how frustrating that can be. Great news that he's too high functioning. That tells you something about his recovery. I'll keep praying for all of you.... How's the shoveling going?? Tammy

Hey Dawn! I have had you and your family in my thoughts and prayers...sometimes the unknown is the worst part of something like this. I hope your Dad continues to improve and will be up and about before long.... Have fun with the snow! Nancy
