Day 30 Exercise....
Happy Thursday..............
What a BEA--utiful Day in Upstate NY.... I took an hour walk today & then was curious of how far I walked so I took the van & retraced my route... I took a different route this time... it was a total of 3.3 miles.... Then came home & had some carb control yogurt with a few teaspoons of grape nuts. It was yum, yum, yummy.... Nice & crunchy..
Then I got great news... My supervisor called me with my rate increase... It was great, almost $2000.00 a year raise PLUS I received a Top Performers Award for 2005. Pretty good for being out for 6 weeks with surgery.
All & all it's been a great day so far.... (even though the scale showed 201.5 again...no biggy)
Hope everyone is doing wonderful.....keep those butts a moving... This months challenge is almost over....TIME FOR APRIL'S.... yippee

What a great start to your day you had! I had som of the Carb Freedom yogurt, strawberry banna, and mixed it with a vanilla boost, high protein, and made my own smoothie! It is pretty good and 24 grams of protein! ...gotta keep that protein count up!

I am down another pound this morning...so happy about that!
I am going to join the band wagon for the April exercise challange...so watch out, I am going to get my rear in gear!

That smoothie sounds yummy... Yesterday I made regular oatmeal & mixed a scoop of vanilla very berry protein delight with it. It was really good. gave me 24 grams of protein. I didn't get much in the yogurt & grape nuts this morning, but it was good...

CONGRATS on your rate increase and the top performer award!
Well today is going GREAT! I did my 30 minute elliptical cycle in high gear going 130 strokes per minute. I really pushed it into high gear to keep that heart rate up.
In addition, I did lower body work for 15 minutes. Tonight I plan on doing my taebo tape and my 30 minutes AB LOUNGE XL. I plan to have another protein shake tonight before working out.
I have only had the ab lounge XL for a couple of weeks and this is my 3rd time using it. I really haven't seen any results yet. However, it's too early to tell. I am feeling a burning sensation afterwards so it's got to be doing something.

You're doing great. I tried an eliptical a couple times over the past month... Those things really work your butt & thighs that's for sure. Good for you doing it for 30 minutes...
Make sure you're taking your measurements, you may not think your ab lounge is working, but you'll see it in the numbers.

Everything is brighter when the weather is pretty!! You know me, I'm the weather girl. LOL! I am glad to hear that NY is finally getting some nice weather. You all are overdue. It is pretty here as well today. It is in the high 70's. LOVE IT!!!
Congratulations on the raise and the award. Gotta love those raises. I have a nice one coming up in July. My husband and I have managed to pay our bills off except for my student loan and our house. It feels so much better.
Anyway, on to the exercising..
I walked a mile during my morning break, I will walk another mile during my afternoon break and I will also do my regular walk tonight at the park. I have also not had a single snack so far today. YEA! (That is huge for me).

I have Blue Bunny Carb Freedom yogurt w/Grape Nuts almost every day for my brunch! I don't eat breakfast so around 11 or so that is what I eat. I LOVE IT!

I am planning on doing at least my 2 mile walk today. I feel like it's time! And I feel sooooo guilty for missing it for almost 2 weeks now!
And by the way, great attitude on the weightloss....you know that is how your body works and accept it. Like I said, next month I will probably do the same thing...up and down with my losses. I can't see me having another 14lb month!

Bet you can't wait to get out & walk again. That guilt sure creeps up on us fast now doesn't it? Can obviously tell our attitudes towards exercise has changed for the better.
Ya, I'm hoping that your little will fly from the West coast to the East coast & land at my house in April ...she's more than welcome.... Although, I'm sure you've offered her an extended visit at your house
