I am still at 214/215 right now...haven't moved on the scales. I have been working at the Y 3-4 times a week like I set for myself....started some ab work, too! Hopefully things will move again soon! Jill

Hey Donna, Glad to see you back to feeling better. You're doing great on your exercise. I am working on adding protein drinks back in. Yesterday I actually put a scoop of vanilla very berry protein delight in my oatmeal & it was really good. 24 grams of protein total. I also ordered some more Achiev One drinks....absolutely love them. I ordered hazelnut this time. I also ordered some protein pudding & the new whey protein that is in vials of like 2.5 oz & has like 20 or 25 grams of protein in them. Gotta mix up the protein a little, I get sick of it easily. Anyway, I was 201.5 this morning, so I'm still teetering. Working out regulary shooting for my 195 goal by the end of April. I think once I get the protein flowing I'll drop the weight. Keep up the great work (((HUGS)))) Tammy

Hi Tammy- my surgery twin! You are doing fabulous! And doing everythingI forget to do! LOL I wondered about those portable proteins- an I was going to get the Achieve Ones- but knew no one who tried them..I love hazelnut and you are really boosting your protein intake..with it in your protein.. this is what I mean..we learn collectively from each other..this is why I think Im under protein even at 50gms a day..I read some where that a woman who weighs 145 needs 80gms protein daily to maintain her weight.. it makes sense now.. You have plenty of time to achieve your goal..but its day to day stuff that makes it possible..one foot, one day at a time.. Thanks for reminding me Its not all gym work. Donna

Hi Donna, You're right with the protein requirements. I know without the supplements, I don't get nearly as much as I should. I know that even Monica Gantz, who you speaks at the OH conventions says that we should have a minimum of 100 grams of protein a day. That's quite a bit, but a good goal to work towards. The Achieve One's are wonderful. The last time I had cappucino flavor & they were yummy. I actually added sf hazelnut creamer to it. I was excited when the hazelnut flavor came into stock. I'll let you know how they are. Have a great Day Tammy

Hi Donna! I also have been sick so haven't been walking much. My 1st goal was to lose 10lbs by April 28... I have already lost 6! And am 9 lbs short of the century club! Whoo Hoo! My second goal was to up my walk to 3 miles... not yet... But my third goal was to dedicate myself to reaching my ultimate goal of losing 141lbs. I am still very dedicated to reaching it. That has not wavered! I think I am even more dedicated with my recent losses. It's working! I am planning on getting my walk in today since I am feeling so much better! I will walk my usual 2 miles at lunchtime. Lori 281/190/140

Hi Donna, I am working hard on my goals and some are going well and others need more attention by me. 1. Lose 11 lbs by 4/28...213.5 was my weight at the start 213 today so 1/2 pound gone. 2. Increase my water...started the plateau buster diet this week and I have increased my water by 12 oz per day more...up to 64 oz 3. Increase excerise...this is my struggle point. I have been taking a qigong class and daily do the excerises to increase my stamina and really see the benefits. It is helping with resistance training as well. 4. Stop emotional/boredom eating...being on plateau buster, I not hungry and so this is really helping to stay focused. 5. Finish my crochet project (blanket), worked on it for 3 nights and have about 15 rows to complete it. It is very relaxing and helps when those food comercials come on. Lori 293/213/135/130
