Day 29 Exercise

Well I didn't get my walk in... I HAD A DEAD BATTERY SO I COULDN'T RUN MY ERRANDS BEFORE MY WALK!!! GRRRR! So I spent my lunchbreak trying to find someone to jump me... Well.. um... err..not me personally! And then running my errands. So no walk yet. I might see if my daughter wants to take the dog around the lake tonight. I think that is at least a mile. It's so nice out....I can't just sit and not do anything. Lori

Hey... Sorry to hear about your battery.... You probably got a ton of takers to jump you..... Seriously, doesn't it suck when those wrenches get thrown into your day??? Me, hubby & my youngest daughter took the dog for a walk tonight... The twins weren't up for a walk seeing they had just gotten home from Track practice. Guess they ran enough for one day. We walked about 2 miles.. It's so nice to walk outside rather than on the treadmill. Have a great night Tammy

Lori & Tammy I FINALLY returned to my workouts ..after 3 weeks...I post the day after my workouts- cuz I w/o later in the evening.. but once again.. I also wound up in the ER this week..with dumping & I have no idea why.. this time I was very careful! I had just eaten dinner (late) had a cup of decaf coffee, and a sugar free mini cake. (these I just got from a bakery that specializes in doing everything with splenda and specializes in s/f cakes, muffins, cheese cake for diabetics) ..It was delicious! I added some cream cheese to it- and went to bed- and @1:30 am I woke up nautious! and then began my trip..sorry- but I was vomiting (dry) for 1/2 hour- shaking etc- and I got scared when I couldn't stop..and went to the ER..my blood pressure was 146/90 (never, never ever been that high) the doctor said- our bodies basically go into shcok- the shaking- the dumping -that having BP that high is not unusual in "shock". They ran my blood tests- did an IV- and I was back to normal shortly..and sent home at 6am..so I stayed on mushy foods for the day- rested home- and yep - hit my workout last night - Treadmill 50 mins - 1.85 miles 350 cals burned Precor - 15mins- 60 cals burned Weights- 22 mins- 3 sets each on 2 machines Hope everyone is having a good night- weather in NY is FABULOUS and will see if I can get some walking outside tonight. Donna, Sorry to hear about your trip to the ER... Scary...... Glad you're feeling better & back on the exercise band wagon. Good for you. Yes it was beautiful in Upstate NY today too........yeah Take Care Tammy

Hi Lori, Thank you for posting. I'm jealous! 14 lbs this month!! I haven't seen numbers like that since Nov. or Dec. At the rate I'm going - with Sat. being 8 month anny... I'm lucky if I'm going to see 1! That's what I get I suppose being so close to goal and just starting exercising again after being sick for a month. Here's to a better April and hopefully hitting goal for my birthday in May. Exercise for today: treadmill 120 cal & elliptical 220 cal. Dawn

Thanks Dawn. I haven't seen numbers like that since the very beginning! I am still amazed. I know next month will be different. I will probably only lose 5lbs! But it's ok, I will take it! I have been sick with this stupid cold for almost 2 weeks. I wi**** would just GO AWAY! I am gonna walk today regardless. I haven't in almost 2 weeks so it's time to get back on the wagon! Lori

I did.... 40 minutes precor/elliptical 3.5 miles 547 calories 200 ab crunches 200 oblique twists with 4 pound ball 200 twists 2 (1 minute) pilates Trying again today.... Jill
