HiYa! Ok..I guess Im the oldest at 49 - before surgery - always got mine
like clockwork- every 28/29 days and heavy..and doctor told me- that as we get older- it morphs thicker .. BUT since surgery - I am still on schedule- sort of- it goes from 25/29 days and its shorter duration and 2 days heavy and 2 days almost non existent..so I dont know what to make of it.. And my doctor also mentioned- that obesity extends your period due to all the hormones regulated by the fat cells - and it prolongs a woman going into menopause..
if that helps anyone figure this out
Oh- and Im not using any birth control- I wanted to wait till I got my iron numbers in order & Im single, but I am LOOKING!!

Hey Dawn!
I am kind of irregular now too, however, before my surgery I had already started this. I seem to have my period every other month...it is not as long or heavy post-op, THANK GOD!, but it is worrisom that it is irregular. I am seeing my gyno next month and I am going to have my hormone level checked (I am 44 now), and I also had a cyst last year on one of my ovaries...
Take care!
