It's been 7months and about 6 days since my new life began and I've lost 51lbs down to 224 from 275 and people notice the difference in me. But what i notice is the level of energy that i have now. i now it only the beginning and i'm ready for it. I'm technical stil on my first fill so i think i'm doing very well. sometimes i my throw up if i dont chew my food well i wonder if this will every stop? does anyone have any tips for this?

Shannon, Congratulations on your success. The added energy is awesome isn't it? I had rny, so I'm not real sure on tips except chew chew chew. I threw up alot when I first went on solid foods, but now it's pretty few & far between. Good Luck & keep up the great work Tammy

Hello Shannon! I was just wondering if there were any Banders in here! I had my surgery on Aug. 15th and I am also down 51lbs from 343lbs! I always wondered how the rest were doing in comparison! Congratulations! I hope to hear from you again soon. Iris D

Hi Iris D! I was just wondering do you have problems with keeping your food down some days and some days you can eat alot? I have a friend who also had the band in mar of 05 she has lost almost 90lbs but she almost on her last fill. I also have a friend who got the gastric bypass one year before me and she went form a size 22 to an 8 but she looks "sick" and her hair has came out really bad. Have you noticed any f this thing? Thanks Shannon
