has anyone seen those adds in magazines for plastic surg financing? or know anyone that has dealt with them, wonder if theyre for real. i havent actually tried to check them out yet. its supposed to be guaranteed financing. that would be so cool, as i dont have any insurance now, and would really like a TT, eventually. down from a size 26-28 stretch pants to a size 12 jeans...wooohoo. but still have a tummy bulge that i would love to get rid of.

Hey Laurie! We had the same surgery date! I hear ya about needing a tummy tuck. I really looked at my tummy yesterday and thought, ewww!! I didn't think I would have THAT much loose skin but I sure do. I will definitely need it removed. I started at a size 24 and wear a 12 now too! Actually just got into a size 12 (stretch) capris this weekend. Wearing them today! I heard that Capital One will do financing for plastics too. Worth checking into. Good Luck! Lori

When I went to the plastic surgeon consultation they said they have financing companies if you want to go that direction... They said you should be 10 - 15 to goal. Diana

Hey Laurie! My surgeon says you should wait until you are at least 18 months post-op to have plastics done. That way your weight loss will have slowed down and given your body enough time to catch up. I was in a 26-28 stretch jean...busting at the seams before surgery and I am down to 16 now, maybe 14 in stretch?? I need to really do more exercising to have as little plastics done as possible. I have had some friends that have had the TT and it is a very painful surgery...so be prepared! Good luck! Nancy
