HI There I just foun...

HI There I just found this message board for people who's surgery was in the month AUGUST. I want to say HELLO, I had my lap rny on 8/15/05 and lost 117 to date. Everything is going well and I'm feeling better each and every day. These 7 months have been amazing. Dropping several clothes sizes is wild trying to keep up with wearing clothes that aren't falling off. So drop me a line and say HI Take care Priscilla

Hi there Priscilla, Welcome. You are doing great! This board is a great place to see if you are going through the same things that others are and also to get tips on how to weather the "storms" that we all seem to go through (like plateau's and hair loss for example). Hey Pricilla! I am a newbie on this forum myself...I had my surgery on 8/16/05 and it is such a marvelous tool! I have lost 120 pounds now and am feeling better each day! God Bless! Nancy 5'8" 320/200/170(surgeon goal)(150 my ultimate goal)

HI NANCY You and I are one day apart. Thats cool. I know I just cannot get over how I feel, I started at 417 and when the scale hit 300 it was such a thrill. You are doing great also! Keep up the good work. Priscilla

Actually - how fantastic you reached the turning 100 My goal is to lose 16lb by 4/29- and get me to 220- which would put me at -105lbs.. I am in a support group- which has LB and RNY patients- and only 2 LB have reached your success level..I have one friend who did the LB in July- and has not done as well..so keep up the most excellent work..and keep posting on bere..you are welcome anytime! Donna THANK YOU for all the kind words, I had my profile done by volunteer Vickie, I love the way it came out. She selected perfect colors. The ocean is important to me, I grew up on the coast of NH and live here on the east coast of FL. Joey (DH) is such a loving supportive husband. He is one in a million. So anyways I just got back from a nice brisk walk, I feel I can walk forever now. Hope your monday was good my surgery twin sister! Priscilla
