Sorry I missed joining in on this. My husband and I joined the YMCA about a month ago and I've been going 3-5 times a week. THe following is my average workout.
Starting weight-Highest: 405
Starting Weight-surgery: 379
Starting weight 3 weeks ago: 275
Weight today: 265
2 circuits of 5 machines: Abs - 50lbs/12 reps; lower back - 50lbs/12 reps; leg press - 90lbs/12 reps; chest press - 30lbs/12 reps; seated rower - 50 lbs/12 reps
And
30 minutes on the recumbent bike at min of 80 revs per minute; avg of 5.5 miles each workout.
Not sure about the cals burned with all that but I went from being in a stall for a month to losing a lb every 2 days again.
Hugs,
Tonya

I did not work out any this weekend. The kidney stone passed yesterday and I spent the day in the hospital. I am still groggy from all the pain meds. However, I am finally under 200!! I weighed 198 yesterday and this morning as well. Do you think the stone weighed that much and just kept me from losing? Ha. Just kidding.
Anyway, I will walk/jog 20 minutes this afternoon followed by a ten minute session of Abs of Steel.
LOL,
Sherry

Sherry....
Sorry about your day in the hospital. Glad to hear the stone passed though. Do they know why you keep getting them?
OK....Now that's 2 of you that hit ONEDERLAND this weekend.... You girls are my hero's...
Good for you. Hopefully, I'll be crossing the line shortly to join you.
You're working out today??? Love your dedication.
Tammy
No. They don't know why I get them. I drink water constantly. I had one kidney stone prior to surgery last June. However, since the surgery they have come every three months like clockwork. I know that having WLS increases your chances of having kidney stones especially if you have had them before WLS. I have seen a specialist but he tells me that drinking more water is the only thing that I can do to prevent them.
