Warm in Alabama today

It is such a beautiful day here in Alabama today. It is in the 70's. It has been very dreary since Christmas. I absolutely love the sunshine and the lack of it in January and February always makes me feel a little gloomy. I know I shouldn't complain because everyone in the north, especially our New York friends (Hi, Donna), has had such a rough winter. Summer will be here before you know it. I went for a walk during break and the warm weather has inspired me to work really hard to look good for the summer. I needed to become refocused on my goals. Won't it feel great to wear shorts, ladies, and not have to worry so much about it? Who knows - we might actually wear a bathing suit as well and actually feel somewhat confident about it. A side note (I know I am rambling, but I feel like chatting today), I have been afraid to try on a size 16. I have been in an 18 for a few months now. Well, I got up enough courage to do so and a 16 was too big. I fit into a size 13-14! I know a lot of you have been wearing this size or smaller for a while, but I was amazed. Sherry.... OOOOOOOHHHHHHH, I can't wait for 70 degree weather. Heck, right now I'll take 40. It'll be here soon. Especially as fast as these months are going. Size 13-14...WOW...YOU GO GIRL.... I'm in 16 & 18s still. How exciting for you. We're bringing our girls to the new indoor water park at Great Escape in Lake George on the 18th of March...I'm still trying to decide if I'm going to get a bathing suite to wear while we're there. I did try on a 16 at JC Penney's last week & IT FIT. Looked pretty good too. I didn't buy it, but we'll see the closer we get to leaving. Anyway...keep up the great work Tammy 291/284/204.5/145

I know it has been one heck of a winter in New York. However, I love visiting The Big Apple. I say you should go for it on the swimsuit. You could always get a suit that is more boy cut and has a tank top if you are not completely comfortable wearing a swimsuit yet. Most importantly, have a lot of fun on your trip. I am slowly learning this. I used to sit back and watch my boys have all of the fun. I am now trying to participate in the fun. LOL, Sherry 276/200/130-140
