Protein Bars???
Hello Fellow Losers,
I like to use protein bars on the days that I am very busy or on the go. I have realized that the protein bars go from one extreme to the other! You find a good on with high protein but then look at the calories/sugar, etc. What have you found out there and what criteria do you look for?
Thanks for your input,
Lynne

Hey Lynne,
I usually stick with the Atkins bars. He has some that are totally sugar free. I like the morning star triple berry ones. Also like the smores & caramel ones. I've tried a few from bariatriceating.com as well & they're pretty good too.
Good luck, let us know what ends up working best for you.

Hi Lynne,
I wish I could remember what I had on Monday. It was a good one, but not a brand name such as Atkins. Bought it at Rite Aid. Any way.. I look for the most protein, lowest cal, lowest sugar/carb combo I can find. I allow the carb/sugar to go a little higher (under 20 each) to get higher protein/lower cal. I want the cal under 200. Since it's the 1st one I tried that didn't make my digestive track rebel you'd think I would have kept the wrapper. Yeesh.

Power Crunch Bars are yummy and have the best carb / protien ratio I can find. Heck, my daughter eats more than I do. Tripple chocolate is my favorite.

Power Crunch bars are the only ones I can stomach. I ONLY eat them as a healthy snack not as a meal replacement since they don't have vitamins added like some of the other bars out there...They are worth trying and I keep one in my purse. They are layered with protein then a layer of crunch wafer and then covered in a chocolate flavered coating. You can order a box of mixed flavors so you can try them all.
