I have been looking forward to this milestone date with lots of anticipation. I want to say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME and everyone else who is at this midmark- the middle of the month! Happy 6 mos to ME!! I began at 325, am now 240 that is 85lbs in 6mos today! Somedays I feel discouraged, as I'm 5-4" and those taller than I am seem more proportional in their loss, but I honestly never lost this much in my life..and am looking forward to my birthday July 16 and my 1 yr anniv on August 15! TWO Birthdays!! YAHOOOO!! I just spruced up my OH page and have submitted new pictures, they should show in a few days.. I just wanna say thanks to everyone who posts here- you are are an incredible source of support and motivation, and I wish everyone good luck in their journey! Hugs Donna

Hi Melody! Ms Size 10!! Congratulations to YOU!! Good Work! I lived in West Babylon 6 yrs and my son graduated the HS there, so we are neighbors!! Do you ever go shopping at Joyce Leslie? I love that store! Also- if you have the time- you should come to the Post Op meetings at Good Sam in West Islip. They are for banders and WLS surgery patients, regardless of your surgeon, and its a really good, caring group of people. We are doing a Fashion Show on March 25th, and I expect to be in it! Its going to be sponsored by Dress Barn & several other companies. Anyway- if you would like to get together - let me know- I have 2 other friends- both WLS patients, that live in Babylon area and I would love to get us all together! Email me and we can set it up! Hugs Donna

My LOVELY friend Sherry! HOW are you doing? This week has been difficult - with a blizzard over the weekend- and today its 60 degrees! GO Figure!! I had 2 meetings Tuesday- one with my new hematologist and the other was my surgeon's support group- Tuesday-But yesterday I did some dumbbell weight lifts before work and did some when I got home yesterday- and the rest of the week- I will be in the gym-thurs/fri/sat/sun...The more I go- the more focused I become and I miss the "release" when I'm not there..I find myself more anxious during the day..We are human- NOT robots!! AND thank GOD for that!! I hope you are keeping up with your program and exercising.I want to begin a group exercise class- but at my gym you pay extra for the classes- and I already pay enough! LOL..so Im going to begin looking for a class in kickboxing- Tae Bo style- because I really miss it. I do have the video- but when you're in a class - it motivates you even more to keep going AND returning to class. Hugs & Keep me posted on how you are doing!

Thanks Lori! I just took my measurements yesterday 2-16 and I have lost 24 inches with half of that coming off my hips and waist area! I was surprised it was so much! Thanks again! I always see your posts- and know you work hard too! Donna
