I am 5 months, 1 week, 1 day post op and I have started something new at the YMCA. I started trying to jog/run. I did it in 1 minute increments for 2 days and yesterday started 2 minute increments. I can't really believe I am really doing that!~ Whew!

You go girl! I couldn't run unless my life depended on it. Plus, since apparently I have no hope of losing ANY of my ta-ta's, I'd have black eyes. Hugs to you! Connie

Jill... being able to run is too exciting. I have been going to Curves and that's keeping me hopping... the best I can do is run across the street if a car is coming.... oh and last weekend I ran out on the ice to one of our fishing rods that had a fish on... but that's my limit. GOOOOOO GIRLLLLLLL! hugs Kim

Congrads... Running is exciting. I use to run a lot. About 3-4 miles a day after my 1st child in 1995. I got lazy and quit and gained and gained and gained. But about a month ago I started jog/running on my treadmill and it is awesome. Although, like many women I had not lost my large breast, so it has caused me some back pain. So, last week I went to the Tae Kwon Do studio. I had my first class Saturday with my kids and Oh My Goodness. Talk about a workout. I was sweating my butt off and it was awesome. So, between Tae Kwon Do, my treadmill and my elliptical I hope I can really work out every day. I have been so bad about working out lately. But, I will succeed and I will work out more. Great job... Nothing worth it is ever easy... Apryl 245.5/182.5/140

Woohoo, you go girl! I'd love to start running sometime in the near future and not b/c someone is chasing me, lol! Keep up the good work! -Lynn Lap RNY 8-16-05 297/217/140
