Stomach/Pouch Ache?????

Hi, Saturday I got this really bad ache in my stomach upper and lower area. It felt like I had really bad gas, but nothing happend. I ended up curling up on my bed and going to sleep. I was in bed by 7:30 on a Saturday night. Sunday I was fine all day. Then today again the same area started to ache. Has anyone had this? Is it gas? Can we take something for it? Tried calling the doctor but just got VM so hung up. I also have been losing weight again. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. Diet is really the same. Diana 263/186/135

Hmm do you happen to be doing or have done the same thing each time? I know I had some lower abdominal pain on Fri. but I believe it was just gas and it went away- that and I have this wonderful head cold thing going on (which sucks by the way) But anyway if it continues I would contact your Doc. I am on the losing wagon again too which is the only thing that made this weekend (sick that I was) worth while. Diana 267/194/165

If you want to read my profile, there's an entry from about a week ago where I had a bout with severe pain that I had to go to the hospital for, and they're suggesting ulcers, but I have not had an endoscopy done yet. But in the entry, it's kinda detailed as far as where it hurt and how it felt. Hope you feel better soon!

Hi Diane I had the same thing,pain in the upper stomach and then traveling into the lower.I thought gas I used gas x and a heating pad all night the pain was pretty scarey. The next day i realized i hadnt went to the bathroom for 3 days, called the doctor they agreed with the constipation and gas.I did not feel well for 3 days afterward, so hang in there but always call the doctor to let them know. Hi Dianna.... A lot of people have the H Pylori bacteria in the stomach and never know it... you may have had it prior to surgery and it could still be residing there now. Symptoms incude pain, gnawing hunger sensation after eating, tummy usually feels better empty. I'm on my second treatment for H Pylori since my surgery... it's a hard bugger to treat and I was not faithful with finishing my antibiotics the first time. You should really discuss this with your surgeon... we should not have stomach aches and pain... hugs Kim
