profiles

i have not updated my profile in 4ever, but was wondering where everyone is getting all the cool backgrounds, pictures, music...etc? also how to post a pic

Hi Laurie, If you find out who makes those great pages, please let me know. I asked a few weeks ago and no one replied. As far as the pics... there's a seperate like at the bottom of where you change your profile that will allow you to link out to 2 pictures. You can also send them to the great folks that keep this site running and they'll do it for you, including adding a picture that pops up in your posts. Speaking of which, mine is 3 months old and I need to ask them to change it. Dawn

I just found at the bottom of a really nice profile a msg that said if you want your profile spruced up email: [email protected]. Dawn

If you go to my profile, you can click at the bottom where it says, To get your profile spruced up...click here... Also to add pictures, do it through Photobucket.com. It's really easy. Once you add your photo to photobucket, it gives you a url to put on your profile & the picture shows up. Let me know if you have any problems. Good luck Tammy

Hi! What you do is contact the volunteers at OH, and they will send you an email asking you for site information and ideas about the kind of page you want designed and what content you want on the page. If you have a smilar page in mind you can reference that or you can reaearch and check the web for "free linkware" or "free websets" and then you can view what the "generic" background page will be When you finish the questionnaire, they queue you in line and then a volunteer will contact you to get going. It can take about 3 weeks. Hugs Donna
