Holy cow I just looked at your weight loss and that is awesome!! If you've lost this much so far then keep on doing what your doing and don't even consider following the majority just stick with you and your doctors plan! Good job on the loss!

I seem to be the odd one out, I have never counted my calories at all. I count fluids and protein but maybe I should be looking at other things too.....humm...something to think about.

Now that I am able to really eat "regular food" I have been counting my calories. I range from 700-900ish. I also use fitday. The most important thing though is that we get good calories. I have about 300 of my calories come from my soy milk and my protein mix. 150 from my morning oatmeal. My lunches and dinners are usually pretty small and protein laden. If I really feel the need for something to eat I reach for my sugar free popsicles. mary

Hi Donna, I was really getting concerned that I was eating too much also, especially when I read that others are averaging about 700-900 calories!! I called my nutritionist to ask her and she said I should be eating 1200-1400 at this time. I am averaging about 1200 so I feel so much better. She said if I go under that, it will just slow my metablolism. You should probably check with your nutritionist too. I also did a metabolic testing recently and they told me not to go under 1575!! This is all so confusing something since everyone is so different. Hugs, Billie
