I am also in the 700-900 calories a day range. I find that if I use www.fitday.com with some customization calorie counts to match can/box listings, I keep a better count of what I am getting in. Eileen 337/258/170?

Hi, I average around 800-900 calories per day. I had a Dr's appt. yesterday and the Dr. said that up to a 1000 is good at this point for optimal lossing. I track my calories and protein in a book that I order from www.calorieking.com. I have lost 88 lbs since my surgery on 8/8/05 and 108 lbs from the 2 week liquid diet before surgery. The Dr. said that is above average loss - so I am happy about that. Looks like you are losing at a great rate though...so keep up the good work. Jaylene

Ditto on the fitday.com and 700-900 calories a day. I've only gone over a 1000 once since surgery. However, you are loosing so I wouldn't worry if the calories are good choices. Torrey (281/220/145)

I'm at about 700-900 on average also. Some days a little more, some less. You're doing awesome. Just make sure your calorie choices are good ones & most of your cal's are coming from protein. Tammy 291/284/217/145

700-1000 Please tell us what you are eating? What is your meal plan like in a typical day? I'm not a nutritionist but that is kind of on the high side for a bariatric patient. Hey as long as you are losing and eating the right kinds of foods then more power to you! I often worry because my caloric intake is low that my metabolism will be all out of whack. I can't eat much which is why my calories are lower.
