Yeah, it is cool to have our stats so close. My sister told me she has some 18s that don't fit her anymore. I was gonna try them last night, but didn't. The 20's I have are mid rise, boot cut, stretch & they're soooo comfortable. They're definately my favorite pair. Keep me posted on your progress Tammy

Yes....when I got married, 15 years ago, I weighed right around 200 and wore a size 18. Now I'm at 233 and am wearing 18's. Clothing manufacturers are making clothes bigger now. I've read that in a few different places and have heard this same type of experience from others on OH.

Hi All, I think it is slowing down. I am not a big loser at all. I am 5' 7 and 3/4 so not too short and I am not losing fast. I am 44 years old also maybe that has something to do with it. Well here is my weight loss: Month 1 35 lbs. Month 2 13 lbs. Month 3 11 lbs. Month 4 9 lbs. I have lost 1 lbs since Christmas December 25th and that was when I hit my 4 month mark. I also at a few cookies and some candy. I will not lose for a awhile now because it is that time of the month. Total lost 69 lbs to date. Diana 263/194/135

Diana, 69 lbs is GREAT Looks like most of us are in the same boat. Keep up the great work. Bet you had a lot less cookies & candy this year than you did last year. I haven't tried sugar yet. Don't think I want to open that door right now. Tammy 291/284/218/145

I didn't weigh myself (or at least didn't record it anywhere) the first month, but by my second month, I had lost 65 pounds. Lost 20 in the 3rd month. Lost 11 pounds in the 4th month. So far, this month I've lost 7 pounds, with a week to go until my 5 month mark. I started at 335 and I'm 5'7". So far, I've lost 103 pounds. I've been losing fairly quickly, but it is slowing down. Mine has dropped way off for the past couple of months. I try to keep remembering how close I am to goal and that it's normal for it to slow way down. I still freak out every now and then, scared I'll never get to see my goal. Day of surgery 269 Current 193 (and been there for about a week - I stall a LOT!) Surgeon's goal 163 My personal goal 150

Looks like most of us are in the same boat. You are doing great. Yes you are sooooo close to goal. How exciting. You'll get there, I'm sure. Guess we all have to face the fact that it does slow down, but, hey, at least it hasn't stopped or gone up right??? Gotta be happy for that. Sometimes, I think this process can drive a person .... In a good way though. Keep up the great work Tammy

Yep, I've crawled through Dec. It's getting frustrating. I'm already a slow loser so when it slows down, it's like my weigh****cher days. - Torrey (281/222/145)

Okay let's see. Aug 19 - Sep 19 = 22.5 Sep 20 - Oct 19 = 13 Oct 20 - Nov 19 = 8 Nov 20 - Dec 19 = 11.5 Dec 20 - Jan 5th = 3lbs. 58lbs total loss. I am also short 5'2" and I think the reason clothes are also fitting better is because of the onion option. We are losing weight in layers. So, we lose 1 inch EVERYWHERE. Which actually makes our bodies smaller. The problem with fad diets are they usually only allow you to lose weight in the boobs and waist or hips, but never evenly in the hips and waist. So, that is why we are also in smaller clothes, along with the fact that they make them bigger. But, after this post, I realize that we are mostly pretty close in weight loss. Apryl 245.5/ 187.5/ 140 ....47.5 to go.

Hmm....my slow-down actually happened in November. In December I picked up again and lost 20 pounds. I'm down 83 so far since surgery, and down 113 since last February. I finally made it back to the gym, so maybe that has something to do with it. Also, I still have problems with solid food, and my doc keeps bumping me back to liquids and then puree because I so much. I don't think those 10 lb months are gone for good...you'll probably pick up again this month. Toni 323/241/???
