Okay I had lost down to 212.2 and over the next week I weighted between 212.2 - 215. I thougt PMS. Well that never occured (yet) and I yo yoed up and down a few pounds. Today I weighed in at 213. I am concerned. I have been having the munchies and feel like I could eat and eat although I know I cant as I tried to eat an egg sandwich and only got less than 3/4 down. I have noticed I an also going to pee more often than I was and all of this is freaking me out. Although on New Years eve I tried a bite of chocolate and got sick. Please let me know if anyone has experianced this - I mean the gain and than the loss. I know sometimes my scale will say one number and it might change by 1/2 lb but the 3 lbs freaked me out...... I feel like my surgery stopped....

Hi Kristie, Yes that has happened to me... a lot can depend on water and salt intake... I would say that you would have to start worrying if it changes more than 5-10 pounds... My weight fluxuates by about 3 pounds depending on when I weigh myself etc. When I have read about people having plateaus I have heard people be told to go back to a newby diet... the soft protein portion... That should help you! Good Luck! Bridget 280/197/140ish

Hey Kristie, My weight yo-yo's like that all the time. I usually do it anywhere from 1-5 pounds. Your surgery hasn't stopped - you're fine. I think all of us have some fluctuation. Like I said, I do it alot. I've been between 143 and 147 for like two weeks. You're doing great

Check my profile! I do it about once a month. I go through periods when I won't lose a lb for 2 weeks (like now) and then have an 8 lbs loss in one weekend. I don't understand it but am trying to live with it. It does get scary to think we are done losing. I have heard of people only losing 60 lbs in a year. Scares the heck outta me. Especially when I start to think, "is this it???" "Did I go through this surgery and have to live with the fact that I can't eat bread ever again (it makes me ill) just to lose 62lbs??" So you see honey, you are having normal thoughts. I am trying to just take it day to day. And lb by lb. I give myself short term goals, 10lbs at a time. Seems to help me when I don't lose a lb for 2 weeks.... Keep your chin up and I will do the same!!! Lori 281/219/140
