Constipation cure
I don't know if anyone else is having problems with constipation, but I am. I've tried so many things with mixed results. People had recommended the Smooth Move tea but said the taste wasn't very good. I went on drugstore.com and read some reviews. Based on that I ordered Laci Le Beau, Super Dieter's Tea Bags, Cinnamon Spice.
Not only does it taste great, but it works. It's not harsh. Doesn't give me cramps like some laxatives. I think I may order the Cranberry Twist next.
Just thought I'd share.

Thank you Torrey! I'll definitely be ordering some to try! Right now I have to use Milk of Magnesia about once a week, in addition to the 3 fiber pills I take daily to try to prevent constipation. (Obviously they aren't helping, but I'm afraid not taking them will be worse!) I'd wanted to try the Smooth Move tea, but am really glad I saw your post before I spent my $ on it. I'll try the Laci Le Beau first.

I too had a lot of problems with this. Practically cried regularly - the only thing that WAS regular!
I have turned to an apple a day (sometimes every other day, but I find daily works best) and it has DEFINITELY worked for me. Now I make sure I have an apple or an orange...anything with fiber (blueberries are really ummy right now!).
The natural sugars haven't caused any problems for me (how much can one small apple have? But if you think you might be sensitive, try a protein drink first, then wait a little while and THEN eat an apple. The protein will stabilize your blood sugars and prevent dumping - maybe not if you ate a king size snickers, but it will cover you for the apple).
Oatmeal or cereal daily is also helpful. Prune juice might have been helpful (I really hated it and I don't think it helped that much), but not only does it taste REALLY bad, but it is high in sugar too. Give me the apple any day!
Also, the vitamin C from an orange is a great idea for this sickly season. As my mommy says, they are in season for a reason!
Good luck!
