I don't know if taking pre-natal vitamins will help the hair loss specifically. I've been taking them for years. They are prescribed by my PCP. I started losing my hair at 3 months. I have thick, longer hair. It's not very noticeable to anyone else. My hubby says it looks the same, but it is SO much thinner. I started using Nioxin shampoo and that has helped slow it somewhat, but I still lose it. I'm almost 5 months out, so hopefully it will start slowing dramatically. I've had some panicky days in the shower where I thought it was just all going to fall out. Fortunately, that has not happened! And I'm told by my PCP, surgeon, nutritionist and friends that had WLS long before I did, that this is just a phase you go through and there is not much you can do to prevent it or stop it, so try not to freak out! (Freak out....those were the words of my PCP....LOL...she's great!). Here's wishing you all, continued success! Tina 335/233/140-ish

I think I am the only person who likes that I'm losing hair...I had too thick curly hair all my life...where I was forced to stick with one style....Now I am so happy my hair is thinning out because I can actually fix it differently now. I don't think there is much we can do to stop the thinning it will eventually grow back.
