SO STUCK!
Hi Donna,
We are at the exact same place with our weight loss. I started at 323 and am now 251 and my surgery was 8/17. I just ended my month long stall last week...so don't worry; you'll kick it up a notch again soon! I know how you feel about those fears! Every day I SWEAR I'm going to be the only one in WLS history to stop losing after a few months. It is something that I think we all deal with for the most part. That's why we are all here...to give each other the encouragement and strength to win this battle!
Keep up the great work...the scale will pick up the pace again. Besides...10 pounds in a month is really not bad at all!

Donna,
I feel the same way. I have been at 255 for about 3 weeks now. It is just your body catching up with your weight loss. You are doing awesome. My first stall was my second month out. I only lost 7 lbs the whole month. I cried and thought for sure I was a failure. Then the next month I lost just over 20 lbs. So I figure that with my increase of exercise and mother nature knocking at my door I will be OK. And next month I will make up for it. Have you measured? Sometimes we don't lose pounds but the inches melt away.
Keep up the good work.

Donna,
Don't get discouranged because you're stalling. I do it on a regular basis, as do all of us. Your body has to do it's thing at a healthy pace. I definately understand about feeling like a surgery failure, because I still get really paranoid when I stall. You're doing great!!

Donna,
We had our surgery on the same date & I'm right there with you right now. Last month I lost 11 lbs in 1 week & have only lost like 5 lbs since the big loss. I'm so sick of seeing 222/223 that I could flip out, but then I think, man I remember when I was sick of 237. It'll come off eventually.
Keep your chin up. We all feel the same frustration, you're not alone.

I too am stuck again. I lost nothing last week for the first time. I actually seem to get stuck and have a very small loss, less than a pound, about every third week. I hope that means this week I'll kick it up some. I am seeing my husbands family for the first time since right after surgery on Christmas and I had a number I wanted to be at. I'm 5 lbs away and frustrated. I hate that I'm up, really up when the scale moves and down when it doesn't. I wish I didn't let it effect me that much. I know I drive my husband crazy. I too get scared that what if that is it, I'm done.
I hate that we seem to struggle but it is nice to know I'm not alone.

I am also stuck. I record my weight every friday and this friday when I weighed I was the same as the friday before. I have not had a week when I did not at least lose 1 pound. I weighed in this morning and have not lost anything, however, I have not gained any weight. Hopefully I will drop 3 pound by Christmas day. That is my 4 month anniversary and if that happens I am on track. I am trying not to panic I know stalls are common.
I also noticed that lately I am so hungery all the time. Then when I start to eat I only want a few bites then in an hour or two hungery again. Over the weekend we were in Texas and traveling and I spent so much money on food I did not eat cause usually I eat the same stuff everyday. I had to pay 12 buck for a bowl of granola and fresh blueberries and skim milk at the hotel. The blueberries were good, but I only had a scoop of blueberries and a scoop of granola.
Anyway back to stalling, has anyone had there real first stall and how long did it last.
My starting weight was 263 I am at 199 and been there for 11 days.
It also kinda of scares me cause; I went to a christmas party put on by my weight loss doctor and they had a fashion show. Two of the ladies only lost 75 and 78 lbs. and they still looked very chubby, they both looked like they needed about 45 more pounds to lose. Others were bone skinny and some that were very heavy to begin with and had lost 100+ looked great. But the 75 only gals made me think wow will I only lose 10 more pounds and join that club. These ladies had there WLS done 2+ years ago...
