Stalled.....
Hey everyone I know I never post but I am always reading since we all had the surgery in August. My question is has anyone else experienced their weight loss stalling? I started out at 395 before the surgery and I have gotten down to 310 but I have been at 310 for over two weeks now. I don't know what I am doing wrong, I am exercising and doing light weight lifting to help tone as I lose but the weight is still not coming off. I am drinking my water and watching what I eat (when I do eat because I am never hungry). Please let me know if you have experienced this and if you have what have you done to overcome this?

Hi!
i stalled for about a month. i only lost 4 lbs in a whole month, but im losing again, i have lost 3 lbs since thursday, so your body will start losing soon. as hard as it may seem, try to stay off the scale for a while during your stalls, it gets really frustrating, but seems to help me when i stay off the scales during that time.

Charloris,
You're not alone. I had my first stall at the end of October through about the 16th of November. Then I lost 11 lbs in a week. Since then I've lost 3 lbs so I'm hoping my week is coming to have a big loss again. As long as you're obeying the rules of your surgeon, which it sounds like you are, your body will catch up & it will start to come off again.
Keep your chin up.

Charloris,
Listen to all these wonderfully beautiful and smart women. What you are going through is very normal. I only lost 7.5lbs in the month of November and then in two weeks, I dropped 8.5lbs...And inches. I heard someone once said, when you stall it's your bodies way of losing inches and then re-distributing the weight... You are very fortunate to have this be your first stall, by the way my stale lastes about 2-3 weeks....
You are doing AWESOME...keep up the great work...

I stalled regularly, for 2-3 weeks at the time. Read my profile and you'll see the patteren. It's normal! It sucks the first time or two, but then you realize and accept that it's the normal and healthy thing for your body. Just keep up with your protien, water, vitimans, and excercise! You'll do great.. your pic looks really good, too. Good luck!

YES! I have been a slow but very steady loser all along, no big losses but also, no stalls...just 2 or 3 pounds a week, every wee****ill NOW! I know this is "normal" but it is still very scary. It has been a week and a half without a single oz gone. I think it is freaking me out because it's my first one...I hope and pray that it starts up again!
