Hi everyone! I can eat a small Lean Cuisine at this point - like the meatloaf in one or the cheese-canneloni thing in another. Can you all eat this much at this point? I'm not going past this amount of food, but I'm wondering if I'm alone in this. I'm kind of shocked I can eat it. And a little worried, honestly. Thanks, Donna 5'8" 333/261/150

Donna, Be careful. I wouldn't worry too much about the amount..Everyone is different. I barely eat some things and then one day I may eat twice as much as I did before. I am trying to listen to my body. However, the sodium could really hurt you. I found that I loved soup; however, I have to limit it because of the sodium.... it slows down my weight loss. So, be careful of prepared foods.... Apryl 245.5/195.5/140

Hi Donna, I tried one last week. It was grilled chicken with broccoli and I was able to eat a little less than half. Unfortunately I later, so I haven't gone back to them again. I don't know if it's too soon for me, as I've been having lots of problems from solids. I'm scheduled for another endo soon, but my doc thinks it's more of a motility issue than stricture. We started out around the same size...I'm 5'6 1/2" and am down to 256 from 323. Keep up the good work! And yeah; watch the sodium in those pre-packaged foods! They'll do you in! Toni

I've yacked on all but one of frozen meals I've tried, so I avoid them now. However, I've moved up from only being able eat a little less than a third of a can of lean beef chili to a half a can. What's bothering me is I'm starting to get hungry some days. Makes good choices a little harder for me. - Torrey (281/229/145)

Hi Donna, I personally live on those and Smart Ones (just meat/veggies for me - not allowed starch ie noodles yet) for my lunches. I could finish them if I wanted my protein/veggie balance backwards. I'm supposed to eat 3:1 of protein to everything else and both brands usually have more veggie than meat. I can eat the meat, about 1/2 the veggies, and then depending on the day a string cheese or a couple of apple slices with peanut butter. As far as you being concerned about the amount of food - are you like me in that I usually get in one "big" meal a day that seems to surprise me in how much I can eat and then 2 smaller ones? If so, that may be why you think it's so much. I have to stop eating after 20 minutes so that I don't overeat in one setting. Try that and if you can still get it all in w/o any issues - be happy. Hi Donna, I eat either a Lean Cuisine or a Smart Ones every day. I try and find the ones with the least amount of calories and sodium. And I can eat a whole one. My nutritionist says they are fine. But make sure you check with your surgeon/nutritionist. They are so convenient for me while at work. I get a nutritious/convenient meal all in one. I keep a supply in the freezer here at work. Good luck! Lori 281/219/140
