Not wanting to brag........
Just real happy with the success I'm having. As of this week I'm down 81lbs. I can not believe what an awesome tool we have been given. My energy level is finally up and I'm going to the gym plus I have my co-workers who are noticing even more how I look. I'm almost in the hundreds and onlly 22lbs away from what the weight on my drivers licenses actually says.
Debbie
Way to go....I'm down 84 pounds. It's awesome but I still need to loose another 60-70 pounds. I concentrate on protein and water. I have at least one shake a day, sometimes two to make sure I get my protein in.
I feel for the others that are loosing slower than us, but everyone's body is dfferent and handles things different. It is a wonderful gift we've been given to help us live longer...I'm very happy.

Debbie,
Way to go!!!!!!!!!! You are doing great. Actually I had to look at my driver's license weight before responding since it is always a lie I do not remember what it is. Wow-190-I was in fantasy land-I have twenty more to go to be at my DL weight. Overall half way to goal. down 65. Looking at my license picture I realize that I was eight months pregnant when I had it renewed. I picked 190 as my weight! I guess I was expecting to have a 100 lb. baby!
Keep up the hard work,
Lynne

Funny you should mention that!
When I weighed 365 at my top weight, I put 280 on my driver's license (I knew I couldn't get away with the 135 I'd previously had on there!) I figured I could make them believe 280, but nothing less than that. I had lived in Florida for several years where they don't make you put your weight on your driver's license, but when I moved back to Alabama, they put every ugly thing they can think of on you, so I had to put my weight on there.
Anyway, just the other day, it hit me that I weighed less than my driver's license says! Woohoo! I've NEVER done THAT. No matter what my weight, I lied on my driver's license! I'm just 4 lbs. less than my driver's license says, but still! That's something!
Then it hit me that just 11 more lbs., I will be in the Century Club with 100 lbs. lost! Wow!
And I'm still wearing the same clothes!
They are pretty loose though. But still...with 89 lbs. gone, not one person has noticed that I've lost weight! The people who KNOW about my surgery say they can tell it, but they don't sound so sure. But the people who don't know...they haven't said a word. I knew it would be this way with all I have to lose, but still, it would be nice if someone said something!
Well, I'm off to go to my nephew's for another Christmas dinner! My stomach is still hurting from the lunch at my parents' house!
Love,
Joni
