As of this morning I'm down 75lbs. I've went shopping after work tonight and I got into a size 16 pant. I started out in a 26. I have not been in a size 16 in about 10 years which I wasn't in them very long until I started to put the weight back on. At least this time I know I will continue to loose and not put it back on. I am so thankful for this surgery. Debbie

I want to play, I want to play! I started my liquid pre-op diet at 317.5 and this morning I weighed in at 245. That's less than my driver's license, less than I weighed in 9 whole years, about the size of two 3 year-olds. I love reading everyone's success stories. Anybody add up how much weight we've lost collectively since August? i bet it's nearly a ton! Jen http://hotfat4sale.blogspot.com/

Awesome Post. I started out day of surgery 8/3 at 251. As of today I am 184 for a loss of 67 lbs. Only 3 lbs from Surgeons goal and another 30 or 40 from my own. This is the best thing that has ever happened to me!

Started at 26/28 top 26 pants (3xxxL) Now 18/20 or regular XL top (NO Plus XL, no 1XL just a regular XL) What I don't understand is that I can still wear some 2XL pants comfortable and some 1XL. With this type of loss I should be able to wear smaller pants I would think. My underwear went from a 12 to a 10. AND I actually fit into an old bathing suit 40C - I was a 42 DD . BUT my bras are a 40 D. I'm totally confused!!!!!!!!!!!!! TOTAL LOSS 85 lbs GONE FOREVER AND 39 3/4 total inches WOO HOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! starting 310 (last Christmas) BMI 50 Super Morbid Obesity date of surgery 290 BMI 48.6 Extremely Obese present 225 BMI 36.3 Obese dr. goal 190 my goal 160 ??? BMI 25.8 moderately overweight

I had my surgery (open RnY) Aug 12th. I'm now 60lbs lighter -45.5 inches! I just bought my first size 8 jeans in geeze, 17 yrs? My WOW moment yesterday was going to chuck E. Cheeze (a pizza place) to celebrate my grandson's 1st birthday. I took him into the "ball net" having to crawl through a little tunnel and through a small (kid sized) hole to get inside the net! Before surgery, there was no way I would have fit lol. We sat in there for the longest time and had a blast! Sad thing is, when I go into a clothes store I'm like a kid in a candy shop. It's all so new to me to actually LOOK at the new styles and realize that I can actually FIT into them! Yet, my pocket book says "NO!" waaaaa. And I've got this passion for high healed shoes now. Years ago when I was "skinny" that's all I wore because I'm so short (5'1) Then when I gained weight I could'nt wear them anymore for fear that I'd fall on my face lol. Now I'm back to heals and loving them! No more moccasins for me! Hugs Tamela
