Hi Everyone! Okay so I know I am not supposed to weigh everday, and I usually don't BUT last week, I was doing really good, I had been on a plateau for about a week or a week and a half.... So over the last 4 days here has been my weighs... Can anyone tell me why or how this is happenening??? Wednesday-211.0 Thursday AM- 210.2 ThursdayPM- 206.8 (stuck to protein and got all my water in... yeah!) Friday AM-208.0 (Figured with my water intake and not haveing a BM it wans't a big deal) Friday PM-210.4 (same here... no BM....) Saturday AM-220.2 (What the F%&K???????????) Okay, so I KNOW that I did not eat 10 pounds of food last night! All I had was a stinking bowl of chicken noodle soup and Iced Tea (sugar free of course!!!) How can I gain almost 15 pounds in 2 days???? Has this happened to anyone else???? I am freaking out right about now! Bridget 280/???/150ish

Have you been eating salty foods in the last few days? It may be that you are just retaining water because of the salt (chicken noodle is very salty). Try upping your water a bit to flu**** out and it will probably settle down. Good luck, you're doing great! Mary

I had to cut out all soups because of the sodium, I could jus****ch my ankles swelling up and it would take days for them to go down. since I cut out soups I have not been having that severe of water issues. It must be water. Stay away from salty food for a few days and see if that helps. Judye

Is it a battery operated scale? Check the battery if it is, mine went whacko when my battery in it was about to die. I had several really weird weigh ins on it before I changed the battery out.

Wow, hopefully, your scale is just being wacky. I can see where that would freak you out. Have you tried weighing on another scale??? Keep your chin up, it may be a little bump in the road, but I'm sure if the scale is right, it'll come back off. Keep us posted ((HUGS)) Tammy 291 Beginning/284 day of surgery/229/145

Sounds like a battery-problem to me! Or...I've been told that sometimes a weight increase or decrease can take up to 4 days to show up on the scales. So, try to think back to whether or not you ate more/wrong foods over the course of the previous week. I used to use this 'trick' to my 'advantage' when I was in Weigh****chers. I knew I could cheat for a few days before weigh-in and it not show up...then I would fast for the days immediately following weigh-in and lose it by the next week. I know; I know. Stupid! And of course I wasn't hurting anyone but myself and sabotaging my own progress...but we've all been there Toni 323/stuck at 263/???
