Geez louise! I am losing hair like crazy right now! I have a full hairbrush full everytime I shower. And it's starting to feel thinner all the time. Anyone else notice their hair falling out? I just hope that it slows down or stops soon. I have always had really thick curly hair and now it feels alot thinner. I get around 50 grams of protein a day from food. My doc doesn't want us drinking protein shakes. I take my vitamins and calcium daily. I wonder how long this will last.... Thanks for listening to me rant. Take care, Lori

Lori, Not yet but expecting it soon. I did have a little more in the sink this morning and tried very hard not to panic! I have very fine, thin hair so am very nervous. I do take biotin and use nioxxin hair products. Hopefully that will help. This too shall pass, Lynne

Hi Lori - I too have been losing hair. Luckily I started out with very thick hair. I've started biotin and trying not to stress too much about it. Stress will cause hair loss as well. Hang in there - we'll make it through. Terri 287/227/145

Hey Lori, I just had my hair all cut off last Saturday. As the stylist was combing it, awful chunks of hair came out in the comb. I was just going to get a trim, but I thought this is not going to work for me. It has gotten so thin. Well, after she cut it, she blew it dry for me and I was so embrassed because the lady sitting next to me was wiping my hair her face because it was blowing from me to her. I don't think I'll use this stylist again as she just laughed about it and was rather insenitive. She kept suggesting I buy all these products to help with giving me a fuller look. I told her no because I was going to let it dry naturally as much as possible so I wouldn't over work it. She just said that was stupid and to buy the products. I did get the shampoo because I was out and I use that type anyway, but nothing else. I thought if you can't listen to your customers, you don't deserve to have any. I didn't even give her a tip. I have to say that I do like the new do and I'll post a new pic around 12/3 which will be 4 months out for me. I hope this helps with the hair loss, but I am still combing some of it out each day. Good luck to you, Lori 293/249.5/132 BMI 55.4/47.1/24.9

I had surgery on August 25th I always lose my hair. It maybe a bit thinner I cant tell. I take Biotin and do protein shakes when I had my blood work done my protein was low. I just cant get it from food so I do protein drinks and that is what everyone keeps telling me to do in my support meetings. Hope that helps Diana

Yeah - my hair has been falling out steadily for about a month, but it's gotten worse, I have been taking Bioten for about 2 weeks and it hasn't seemed to help at all, but I am afraid not to take it. My hair is also very thick and curly I don't know what else to do... I'm okay with it as long as I don't get bald patches! I see my surgeon Monday and I'm going to file a complaint LOL. Good luck - we won't all have go wig shopping

Yup, my hair has been falling out too. From what I hear, there's really nothing that will help. Most people say it's about 3 mos post op to about 6 mos post op, but then it comes back. So, I'm just gonna hope I don't lose too much more & wait for it to stop. Tammy
