Protein!!!

OK I just needed to share this and it may be silly but I am so excited that I finally found a protein supplement that I can actually tolerate and not feel like gagging after the 2nd swallow. I am almost 3 months out down about 60 lbs, drink about a gallon of fluids a day, do Pilate's for beginners, use the treadmill for about 15 min, and the gazelle about 15 min every day. But I haven't been able to tolerate the protein drinks and I know my protein intake is not as good as it should be. But I finally found a cure. It is the unjury chocolate. OMG it is like heaven. I put 1 scoop in a cup of warm milk, a packet of splenda, and a packet of sugar free hot cocoa stir and drink. It is so creamy and has just a wonderful chocolate flavor. So now I can hit that chocolate craving and get my protein in every day. Oh and by the way it has about 30/32 grams of protein in just an 8 oz cup. Rocquetta 333/270/170

Rocquetta (What a beautiful name), Thank God for UNJURY!!!!!! It too has been my answer to the protein saga. I use the unflavored in hot cocoa or crystal lite. I cannot express the relieve it has been for me. I was struggling with the protein thing. Tried several brands-gag, gag. Now, I use one scoop of unjury and eat one protein bar a day giving me 40 grams. The rest I get in with food. Unjury is soooooo worth the cost. What a waste of money the other powders have been. My dad wanted a girl named Loretta and my mom wanted a boy named Rocky so my grandparents decided that they couldn't have their first grandchild come home with the name baby girl and put them together to form Rocquetta. Yes I agree. I have a great angel and she gave me so many samples. I think I have tried all of the GNC proteins and I really liked the profect but I couldn't afford them. So I spent like 9 dollars and ordered all the samples that unjury offered and I only liked the chocolate. So now I am about to order a big can of the chocolate. Rocquetta

Hi Rocqetta, I am a newbie to this site and saw your post. I have been having a hard time finding any protein drinks I like as well. Would you be so kind as to tell me where I can find the "Unjury" products and samples? On another note, I did finally find a couple of protein bars I like. They are the ZONE PERFECT brand. I really like the Chocolate Caramel Cluster and the Almond Biscotti. They sell them at WalMart really cheap in boxes of 5 and they have 16 grams of protein in one. They are fairly low calorie and low fat and they taste like candy bars. They are crispy in the middle, which I prefer to that dense chewy kind of center that many of the others have. Shannon, go to www.unjury.com and they have sample packs for just over a dollar a piece. I also liked the strawberry sorbert in my cream of wheat. Not the greatest but it was workable. Nothing like the nasty shakes. The vanilla is also good in hot chocolate or in oatmeal. I still try to stay away from the protein bars because of all the calories. I seem to eat one and then crave more of them. Rocquetta
