I stumbled onto the board yesterday and I'm so very excited. I had my surgery 8/22 and have lost 72 pounds as of this morning. This board is awesome because we all had our surgery in August and are basically going through the same things at the same time. I go to a support group twice monthly but all but one are 2-3 years out. It's helpful to hear what they are or have gone through, but it's much better to hear what others like myself are experiencing as it happens. I've even went back and read most of the old posts also. My only regret is that I didn't find y'all sooner. Thanks for all the info! Keep up the good work and we'll all make it to a healthier life!!! Hugs

From one Connie to another ~ WELCOME! And BIG woohoo congrats on your awesome weight loss! I agree, it's really helpful to share experiences, ideas, and frustrations with others that had their surgery around the same time. Connie RNY 8/01/05 269/206/163 surgeon's goal
