this probably came up before.... I'm 2.5 mo post-op and no major problems so far... but.. this week I notices mini-pimples all over my arms... they are not really red, they itch, and if I even slightly scratch it , I bleed (never before)... I used to brag about how I never needed cream for my body...Did I jinx myself?..or.. Is it common after WLS? Is it going ways eventually? Is there any "miracle cures" for it? I do take my vitamins religiously and I'm OK on protein intake... Any suggestions? Thanks, rita

I am having the same problem, not on my arms, but under my breast and belly. YUCK!

Rita: My problem was not on my arms but on my chin, forehead, the back of my neck and inside of my ears. I consulted the surgeon and he didn't have a clue. Since then I have heard from many on the boards that when you lose weight rapidly your fat cell release excess hormones causing you to go through a puberty like pimple stage. Good Luck, mine had stopped but it is back again along with losing 4 pounds in two days. I hope this ends soon. Maria
