I got on the scale this morning and I'm down 60lbs I'm almost 10 weeks post-op. I can not believe that I've lost this much so fast. I had a appointment with my PCP this morning and the first thing out of his mouth was WOW. that made me feel real good. I've also starting cleaning out my closet and I've gotten rid of about 70% of it. My closet looks so empty now. Just had to share. Debbie

Hi Silvia Congrats to you......45lbs is awesome. Don't compare yourself to others here on the boards. Everyone is different Plus some of us may have more weight to loose then you do therefore me may loose more in the beginning. One thing that I had was a STRICTURE......could not keep any food or liquids down for 10 days(would not recommed this..lol) that is one reason I've lost so much. Keep up the great work. Debbie

Debbie. I had a stricture stretched out 12 days ago and it still seems a little sore. I did have a problem with squirting blood and going into the hospital for observation. How was it for you? Rosemary

Hi Rosemary Sorry I didn't respond sooner. How are you doing? Are you still having the problem with the blood? When I had my stricture done I went in as an out patient I was awake for the whole thing therefore I didn't stay in the hospital after the procedure. Right afterwards I was coughing and spitting up blood but it didn't last very long and the the next day and a half I had a sore throat but everything was ok. Did your surgeon recommend anything you could do to help prevent the stricture from happening again? Of all things my recommened me eating Grape Nuts which I thought was weired considering I'm not suppose to have bread, cereal ect. But so far so good. Hope everything is well with you. Debbie

Congratulations! I know how you are feeling, I went in for my 12 week check-up and found out I've lost 65 lbs!!! I have no clothes either. My family keeps telling me how funny I look in baggy clothes (you know, because they were all so tight before!) Congrats again! And keep up the good work!!!!

Thanks Missy, I was telling a friend at work how much I've lost and she told me that is about how much her daughter weighs. So now I've been telling her that I've lost a Hana(her daughters name) and then some. When you look at it that way it's so amazing to me. Now I just wish I had some extra money so that I can buy some new cloths. I gotten a few things but when you have to dress a certain way for work I'm having to wear some old things that don't look that well because they're too big. CONGRADULATIONS on the 65lbs weight lost.....keep it up. Debbie
