volume vs weight when measuring foods
Okay, I know I need to call my dietician, but I sleep during the day when she is at work. Maybe one of you can help?? I am supposed to eat no more than 3 ounces at a meal. Cheerios are on my list of okay foods. If I put 3 ounces of Cheerios in my little measuring cup, it is just a very small amount of Cheerios. If I weigh them on a scale it is a BIG bunch of Cheerios. So which is correct? I would assume the volume measurement, not the weight measurement, but I'm just not sure!
