Okay, now I am freaking out. I had surgery on 8/25 and the weight has been falling off until about 10 days ago. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone know how long these plateaus are supposed last?

I lost 41 lbs in the first month and only 8 lbs this last month. However I lost 11 inches this last month. Make sure you keep checking your measurements once a month. Terri 287/238/145

Hi Clarissa, I had that happen 6 weeks after surgery and it lasted about one week. Then I started losing again and this past week I have not lost anything. Don't worry about it. It will come off. Just keep doing what your supposed to do and don't worry so much what the scale says( I know easier said than done LOL) Take care Joyce

i'm having the same thing, but everyone told me not to worry. i've lost 27 pounds and not anything in the last couple of weeks. but i have lost 15 inches, so it is coming off. it was suggested to me to not weigh myself so often. everyone guarantees that the weight will come off, so i'm trusting all of them!

Hi Clarissa, BOY, do I know about plateau's!! I have been stalled for going on a month and I am only 7 weeks out. I lost 27 lbs in 3.5 weeks and nothing since. I wish I could blame it on my period, but that is not the problem either. I understand that this can happen, but I know it is very frustrating.. stay strong and good luck, Lisa

Hello to all of you!!! I have had and still am having the same issues. I think your body has to play catch up, plus you eating like this opposed to how you did before, your body probably thinks you are starving it and it is holding onto whatever fat it can...UNTIL later...I get stuck for a few days and then WAM there is 5-7 pounds gone. Don't stress it, I know easier said than done because I still freak out...but it will come off!!!!
