Several Wow Moments Today!

Hi August Gang! Last time I posted I was so discouraged and today I have had a great day. All my life I have always had to buy the biggest clothes in the store for little girls and women. It was a very depressing thing for a young teenager, to say the least. Well, today, I bought a new shirt in a size 18/20W (I've been in 26/28W & some 30/32W) so I was extremely excited to purchase this new shirt. Then my mom gave me a tank top in 1X and I thought, "I need a 3X in this." But I tried it on and it FIT!!!! I am thrilled right now. It actually looked good on me too. The best news is that the scale finally made a big jump...I am down to 256 (didn't think I'd ever get under 260), so my total weight loss to date is 37 pounds. I am so happy today. I have been at my wits end and my surgeon wasn't very happy either. But today I'm on cloud nine. I know I have a lot more to experience, but today is a GREAT day!!!!!! Lori 293/256//140

Congrats Lori, We need to just take baby steps and before we know it. We will be wearing bikini's on the beach..... You keep on with those WOW moments... Remember the positive and work through the negative. We are all here to keep each other up!!! Apryl 245.5/210/140

Lori that is SO AWESOME! I had someone ask me today "how it feels" to be loosing so much weight and all I could do is smile and say "Terrific!" You go girl!

Good for you Lori! I'm sort of a slower loser too, and it is so hard not to "compare." But take those WOW moments and cherish them! I'm very excited for you! Have a great day! Becky
