In the last couple of days food just doesn't agree with me. I'm just feel sick after I eat. A couple of times I know that I over ate or I've eaten somthing that just doesn't agree with my new pouch. Yesterday I ate breakfast and ate too much so the rest of the day just the thought of food make me want to so today I went on line and purchased two large containers of UNJURY protien drink mix. I think I'll stick to luquids for the next couple of days. I had a Srticure a couple of weeks ago I just hope its not coming back. Debbie

Yes, anytime our pouches disagree (and yes, they know who is in charge---they are LOL) we need to go to liquids for a couple days to let it calm back down and get back to "normal". Sorry to hear about your stricture, hope it's not another one. I think if you give it a day or so and try something from the pureed food stage and it's okay, then work your way back up. Hope you get to feeling better soon! Pamela

Debbie- Its most likely your stricture. My doctor told me that, it usually takes mutliple procedures to permently fix it.... Call your doctor! I had mine taken care of as well...and I think its back.... No fun!

Debbie ~ I have a post here about being stuck in the puree stage, so I am definitely feeling for you! I think I'm starting to build up an aversion toward food, because it seems everything just gets me nauseous anymore. I had an endo 3 weeks ago and at the time a stricture was ruled out, but I suspect I have one now because of the pain and extreme nausea. It's frustrating because I have a friend who had her surgery 2 weeks before me and she's already eating regular food while I'm in my sixth week of puree! I know we all heal at a different rate...I just hope I can eat by Thanksgiving! ~Toni~

What a relief so its not just me, sorry that we are all having this problem but I am reliefed that Im not alone. I at times hate to eat for fear of how my body is going to react. I have learned the hard way, I eat very slowly and I mean slowly. My portions or course are very small and I concentrate on protein only. I even get cold sweats and I have learned when I feel sick I get up and walk, and I keep a jar of peanut butter at my desk and when I start feeling sick I get a spoon of peanut butter and I just lick it liky it slowly believe me I don't now how but it works. I learned the hard way no sugar for me no sir and no more coffee not even decaff. The feeling after is not worth it and because I am only 1 1/2 months since surgery I take it slow. I also hope to be better by thanksgiving. Thank you for sharing your comments, I feel much better, this is such a learning experience but we all will do fine. I only need to learn what exactly is dumping and how do I know if I am dumping. This is the big word I don't know a thing about and am very confused. thank you again.
