HAVE YOU REDONE YOUR BMI SINCE SURGERY ??
I've gone from 52.3 to 45.something. I just changed it today. According to the chart thing, I was "super morbidly obese" and now I'm just "extremely obese."
I've lost 50 lbs. already. Amazing! I am basically 1/4 of the way to my goal. I needed to lose 215 lbs. and now I need to lose 165. Still a long way to go, but at least I have hopes that I will get there now. Before WLS, I knew it would never happen.
No one can really tell I've lost weight yet, but surely another 20 lbs. and they will. The people who know I've had WLS will say they THINK they can tell, but you can tell that they don't see a difference. _I_ see a difference though, that's what's important.
I still have the same fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis pain, but it's easier to get up out of chairs and get around with 50 less lbs. on me.
I'm going to my parents for lunch today though and my Daddy is making his awesomely delicious spaghetti again, so I may gain back 5 lbs. today. Maybe not.
