I go back to work Thursday, so my mom was nice enough to take me "Back to Work" clothes shopping yesterday! We didn't spend too much, since I am only 5 weeks out and hope to continue losing, but my mom is a sweetheart and said she wanted me to feel really good going back to work in clothes that REALLY fit me! The good news? Before surgery I was in a tight 28. Yesterday, I easily fit in 24's and even a few 22's. We budget shopped and got the following for $120! Corduroy blazer Long-sleeved T-shirt V-neck sweater Tan corduroy pants Navy trouser pants AND a cool pair of boot-cut JEANS! (I can't wear jeans to work, but my mom was so excited for me that bought them for me anyway!) The other awesome thing is that my mom is an excellent seamstress, so she took in 4 pair of pants for me! They are still a little big, but they can help get me by. Thanks for reading my happy post. Great going Jill!!! This must feel really good...I'm 8 weeks out, but I'm still holding out on byuing new things although my hubby is kindda pushing me to do it....I used to be 20W tight, and now can get into 16th if they are right cut (Liz Claiborne, Ralph Loran, etc)..... but so far I'm just trying them on..... since it's the end of warm season... and I will defenetly need warm clothes come November, but not now.... and the summery things are defently going to be tooooo big next spring/summer.... Anyway, I'm happy for you.... ...I'm just not brave (or rich) enough to do it...... have fun showing them off at work, Hugs, Rita B.

That's really awesome! I started out in 22's and they just started looking ridiculous on me. So, I went out and bought a couple of 20's and now they are hanging on me. I actually have to stick my stomach out to hold them up when I walk. I'm only about 9 weeks out. I've lost 37 pounds. It's amazing and I'm loving it.

I've gone from 26/28s to 18/20s. Nice problem to have, though I'm "lucky" enough to have ballooned from 14/16s about 2 years ago up to 26/28 so have my clothes to go back down through. We also have a clothing exchange at our support meetings which helps a little. I did have fun on the summer clearance racks though at Macy's. I bought some 12's for next summer. I've never bought things for the end of the road before so it was quite a WOW moment. Have fun shrinking! Dawn

I went from very, very tight 24s as of Aug to 18-20 Rider jeans the other night! I'm very excited.....and DH was getting pretty tired of me having to constantly hitch up my britches:D
