new to site

so glad I have discovered this site! I am so inspired (and comforted )to read the posts of others with the same surgery date. I had the lapband procedure 8/24/05 and have lost approx 35 lbs....I didn't know if that was typical or not...it looks like I am doing ok and so I will not worry about that now.
