I was told by my nutrionist that yes, 1/8 of one is a serving, and only rarely. The 'yes' is only because of the healthy oils, but they have a lot of calories. If you're allowed veggies, go for it in moderation. Dawn

i didn't ask my doc about them, but i had part of one the other day and it was yummy! i took tiny bites and ate it really slow. not going to eat it all the time, but once in a while should be fine.

I have been eating them, I cut them up into small chuncks (1.4 at a time)and eat with cut up cherry tomoatoes (seeds removed) and its kinda like having a salad - and my dr does not allow salads yet but did say I could eat tomatoes and advocados. With a tiny bit of salt and pepper - so yummy!
