13 days, 26 pounds

I can't believe it - I went to my doc for a checkup and I've already lost 26 pounds. And here I was sitting at home last night and wondering if it was all worth it. My only lingering issue is continuing pain in the left side. The doc said give it a few more weeks...AGGGHHH. It hurts! My best to you all - we are brave warriors. elizabeth in virginia

Yep, I agree. That pain will leave. I assume you had laproscopic? That left incision is where the stapler goes through and I think it just is larger and goes through more muscle than the others. So there is more trauma. It will pass, but be careful not to pu**** or lift anything, that will make it worse and take longer. Congrats on the weight loss!!! Go you!
