20 days post op...had stricture..not fun

well was feeling really good...i had an egg monday nite(was being put on soft food diet tuesday)..well anyways i started throwing up..and throwing up like every 20 minutes...i get up tuesday and was going to cancel my dr appointment but my dad said i will drive you i think u need to be seen...so i get down there and tell them how i feel.. and they told me sounds like a stricture...and send me over to the other hospital for a scope and dilation..i ened up have a stricture so small the dr said it was the size of pin hole and my vitamins were plugging what run i did have there..so he dilated it to size of my pinkie..and i have to be a liquids for another 3 weeks and have another scope...fun fun..oh ya i also woke while they were doing it..lost another 13 from last week week 1-21 week 2-13 total-34 total since may 1-73

Michelle, Sorry to hear about your stricture. My sister also had the same thing happen at about 20 days post op. She is going for her 3rd dilation next week. Not everyone needs 3, but her body makes scar tissue very easily. Good luck with everything & thank god it's a complication with an easy fix.
