Hi everyone! Okay so this may be a kinda out there question, but I was wondering if anyone else was having an issue with body oder/ bad breath... I totally am! I am exactly 4 weeks out tomorrow... I can't stand it... I have tried different deoderants and nothing seems to help... switched shower gels, I am showering twice a day and wish they had a shower at my office so I could do it there too! I know and expected the bad breath, going into ketosis, and burning fat and stuff, but the body, no way! Is anyone else experiencing this? Or am I all alone on the stinky train? (It more than likely isn't as bad as I imagine, but hey, I have NEVER EVER had an issue with this!) I want to zap the stinkyness away! All the best! Bridget 280/256/140

Hi Bridget - I had this same realization today... I took a walk and afterwards thought to myself, "jeeez, did I forget to put deoderant on today?!?" I usually wear unscented but went out and bought some scented deoderant. I sure hope it helps..... Desi

Bridget, I can totally relate!! It struck me yesterday-literally. I don't get it either because I have been showering daily!! As far as the breath thing goes-I've just had to rely on frequent teeth brushing and sugarless gum. Sorry., I hope it goes away in time.

The bad breath was horrible for me too! Oh lord, I would wake myself up at night and wonder what in hell I was smelling! For the first three days I thought my sense of smell was all screwy from the surgery, then I discovered it was ME that I was smelling.... oh the horror! The body odor part I have not got yet.. but who knows..that may be coming! I certainly hope this rectifies itself for you.. have you tried antipersperant/deodorant.. instead of just one or the other? Some of that body powder stuff... shower to shower? might help.. I am sure once your body adjusts to the new regime of ridding itself of toxins, etc, this will go away. The stinky train sucks!! Here's to a really good bottle of perfume! Kimberli P.S. My husband is doing low carb/high protein and he is on the stinky train too! Trust me, I am fighting for the cure!

WOW!! I thought I was the only one! Last night I was reading my daughter a book in bed and I thought, "What stinks!" I blamed it on her and asked her if she was sure she brushed her teeth well and washed well in the shower. My son would not even get on the bed to read with us because of the stinky smell! Now I know I am the culpret~ How embarrassing...When does this end! Julie

Chlorophyll will help. It's what is in the product Innermint. Google Chlorophyll and you will see a bunch of websites that carry the product. It's natural and made from plants it does seem to help. You can get it in gell pills or liquid. The liquid form is minty flavor and you add like a teaspoon to a glass of water. It turns the water green but it has a minty flavor and is actually very refreshing to drink. I bought both the liquid and pills. It also helps with constipation.

Ahhhhh someone else too huh? lol. I too sometimes get a whif of some foul smelling smell, thinking maybe my dog passed gas or something and realize ITS MY BREATH! Poor hubby is really having a hard time lol. As for the body odor THANK YOU! I was WONDERING the same thing! Switching deodarants etc and nothing working. Seems after a few hours I get that Whif again and wind up washing my armpits and changing my clothes again. Oh goodie, it's not just me lol
