Is there anyone who had trouble with itching with their hands and feet? I am going crazy with the itching. I have taken benedryl but even that doesn't completly stop the itching. I need some advice. This is a long weekend and the only thing I know to do is drink benedryl. Help! Annette Cowell

I had trouble with itching as well and found out that it was a reaction from meds and from the bed linen that I was using. I also had an itching reaction from the tape that was used around the incision. It's better than taking meds that could be discontinued, ya know. Did you call the 888 number that they gave you at Barics Clinic Bsnyder-Toledo

YES!!! My legs and butt itched for days! It was a reaction to meds they were giving me and that I continued at home. It started causing excessive nausea, so I stopped and took one dose of Benedryl and I've been fine ever since. I also had alot of itching, and still do from tape.

Oh gosh yes! Mine was on my torso, but I'm still not sure of what the exact cause was, but it lasted about 2 weeks. I'm leaning towards the major problems being I was getting so much water before surgery and I'm just now, 5 weeks later, getting 2 liters or more of water in a day. The 2nd was the hormonal changes that my poor body went through post-op. I found concentrating extra lotion and drinking as much water as possible got me through it. Dawn
