hi are there any teen that have had this surgery ? i had my surgery on Feb 25 2005. i am 18 and i dont think there have been any people my age to get this done . so if there any people my age i would love to hear how they did. thanks heather

Hi Heather, I am 21 and had surgery on 8/25... so far everything has been great aside from some excessive nausea, which seems to be getting better. When I was about 17 or 18 my doctors started talking to me about the surgery - I wish I had done it then!

Hey Heather I am 22 and had my surgery on 8-16-05. Believe me, there have been plenty of people your age who had this surgery. Go check out the teen message board and you will find many teens. I started thinking about this surgery when I was 18 and wish I would have went through with it then, but better late than never. So how have you been doing with your new pouch?
